Osa Vocal RushLate breaking news: Vocal Rush won the High School A Capella Semi-Finals in Oregon, and now the group goes on to New York for the finals! This show is a benefit to help defray the costs of that trip!

If you want to feel good about the next generation of artists coming up the road, please check out Osa Vocal Rush. This a cappella ensemble from the Oakland School for the Arts is directed by Lisa Forkish and features Nelly Ake, Jada Banks Mace, Jazmine Datcher, Barbara DeVeaux-Griffith, Ella Garcia, Sarah Isen, McKenna Lindell-Wright, Roman Mebrahtu, Ari Nikbakht, William Southall, Merlin Veltman, and Britani Washington. The ensemble recently released an album, Shatter, and wowed audiences in November at the West Coast A Cappella Showcase. Their musical focus is soul, pop, rock, and rhythm and blues, and they just recorded their first original song. These young singers bring a wealth of talent, commitment, and passion to their performances. Don’t miss this chance to see what the future holds!

The Riveters are a five-woman a capella group from Oakland featuring Moorea Dickason, Lisa Forkish, Stevie Greenwell, Courtney Jensen, and Sarah Vela. They recently released their debut album, She Don’t Stop.
