Classical at the Freight brings in some of the Bay Area’s best
classical musicians for an hour of outstanding chamber music in an
informal, friendly atmosphere. San Francisco Chamber Orchestra music
director Ben Simon hosts. There’s no stuffiness, no mystification, just
an invigorating evening with gifted musicians sharing the beauty and joy
of this timeless art with new audiences of all ages.

The return of the mighty SFBQ, four-time winner of the “Best Brass
Quintet Ben Brings to the Freight” contest. Ladies and gentlemen,
these guys are as good as it gets, and always present a delightful,
wide-ranging program showcasing the virtuosity of John Pearson
and James Dooley, trumpets; Doug Hull, Horn; Craig McAmis,

Founded in the spring of 2013, the CMSSF is four young,
passionate players (and SFCO All-Stars) dedicated to bringing
masterworks of the chamber music repertoire to diverse
audiences in intimate settings around the Bay Area. Jory
Fankuchen and Natasha Makhijani (violins), Clio Tilto (viola) and
Samsun van Loon (cello) present an exciting and wide-ranging

Liana Bérubé (violin), Michelle Kwon (cello) and Jeffrey LaDeur
(piano) are the award-winning Delphi Trio, praised for their “…spot-
on ensemble playing and a beautifully blended sound…” (San
Francisco Classical Voice). The Delphi’s have concertized throughout
the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and Germany; their
Classical at the Freight debut promises to be a note-worthy musical
