Tonight's concert offers listeners a rare treat—Jill Knight  and duo Pam Delgado & Jeri Jones reunite on the Freight stage for an evening of non-stop rollicking, soul and blues. The three forged musical ties in the ‘90s when singer-songwriter Jill, already a California central coast favorite, toured with Pam & Jeri, shortly before the two became founding members of female powerhouse quartet, Blame Sally.

Jill approaches her music with an unadorned intensity, packing emotional punch in songs rich in the details of everyday experiences. Powerful as both songwriter and performer, Jill's soulful sound is unmistakable, inspiring Performing Songwriter to comment, "Its hard to say which is better-the song or the way Jill Knight sings it." She has earned the devotion of fans and fellow musicians alike, sharing stages with India Arie, Shawn Colvin, David Wilcox, Michael Hedges, Phoebe Snow, Richard Thompson, Little Feat, and earning The San Luis Obispo New Times "Best Band on the Central Coast" four years in a row.  Tonight she takes the stage with Eric Williams on bass and Brynn Albenese on violin.

Pam and Jeri return to their original duo format, the Pam & Jeri Show, in a performance ranging from mournful ballad to sweet love song to blazing acoustic soul. These two accomplished instrumentalist/singers combine strikingly different approaches to create a distinct and compelling sound. Pam's sensitive songwriting, emotive vocals, and imaginative percussion, is strengthened by the expert stylings of Jeri on electric and acoustic guitars and powerful backing vocals. Their utterly unique arrangements of Aretha Franklin and Rickie Lee Jones songs are crowd favorites and their originals have had national airplay including feature and rotation on San Francisco's KFOG and Starbucks XM Café.
