This course is recommended for anyone just starting out on guitar. No prior knowledge of guitar or previous musical experience is required. It covers important basics that will be applicable to any future guitar study, regardless of style. Topics will include tuning a guitar, learning new chords, and playing songs using simple strumming techniques. This course is repeatable, as the songs will change with each session.

Required for the class: a guitar, an electronic tuner, a pick, Alfred's Basic Guitar Method 1
