Ed Littlefield, Jr. celebrates the release of My Western Home with a spirited evening of tunes from the new CD, as well as tracks from his previous solo collection, Going to the West, and more.

Immersed in the Northern California folk scene until the 70s when he relocated to the state of Washington, Ed toured extensively with Seattle's leading Western swing band, Lance Romance. He also founded Sage Arts, one of the Northwest's premier recording studios, before joining the eclectic, engaging and multi-instrumental Marley's Ghost in 1986—a fruitful union now enjoying its silver anniversary.

An innovative pedal steel guitarist, Ed may also demonstrate his prowess on everything from harp guitar, piano, fiddle, mandolin, and dobro to Highland bagpipes. Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead said Ed's music "...just glistens. It radiates the true spirit of back porch American music...I can't stop listening. . . . Is this some kind of potent sonic voodoo?" Tonight, Ed brings the "sonic voodoo" to a starry night on the Western range, with some very special guests along for the ride, including Laurie Lewis, Tom Rozum, Eric and Suzy Thompson, Paul Shelasky, David Jackson, and Mike Phelan.
