The SF Bluegrass and Old Time Festival does it again! Join us tonight for a fabulous evening of music from the Crooked Jades plus special guests Water Tower Bucket Boys, with Frank Farfield opening.

Innovative San Francisco-based string band the Crooked Jades continues its fascinating journey tonight, with the help of special guests The Water Tower Bucket Boys. On a mission to reinvent old-time music, the Crooked Jades push boundaries and blur categories with their fiery performances of driving dance tunes and haunting ballads. Known for their obscure repertoire, beautiful original compositions, and eclectic, often vintage instrumentation, the Jades began with bandleader/founder Jeff Kazor's vision to revive the dark and hypnotic sounds of pre-radio music. Since then, the band has created a unique style by interweaving this old-time foundation with diverse musical influences from Europe and Africa. In the Jades' current lineup, Jeff is joined by Lisa Berman (slide/banjo/harmonium/vocal) and Erik Pearson (banjos/harmonium/slide/vocal); also on hand tonight are special guests, Portland, Oregon-based indie folk/psychedelic bluegrass purveyors the Water Tower Bucket Boys.

New old-timer, Frank Fairfield opens.
