The return of the mighty SFBQ, four-time winner of the “Best Brass Quintet Ben Brings to the Freight” contest. Ladies and gentlemen, these guys are as good as it gets, and always present a delightful, wide-ranging program showcasing the virtuosity of John Pearson and James Dooley, trumpets; Doug Hull, Horn; Craig McAmis, trombone; and the unrivaled Forrest Byram on tuba. Classical at the Freight brings in some of the Bay Area’s best classical musicians for an hour of outstanding chamber music in an informal, friendly atmosphere. San Francisco Chamber Orchestra music director Ben Simon hosts.
