Join singer/songwriter and hilarious tale-spinner Antsy McClain and his Trailer Park Troubadours for an unforgettable evening. Great music, pink flamingos, kazoo solos, and plaid-polka dot pairings are pretty well guaranteed to feature prominently in tonight's installment of what Antsy calls "our New Year's Week-long Party," and everyone is invited!
Staging his live shows from the mythical Pine View Heights trailer park, Antsy paints a vivid portrait of americana through heart-felt ballads and humorous tales. Drawing inspiration from his own childhood, Antsy portrays the park denizens with clever–but never condescending–stories couched in a catchy mix of country, rockabilly, jazz, and swing. Original tunes like "It Ain’t Home Til You Take the Wheels Off" allow us all to share in the pleasures and heartaches of American trailer park life, both onstage and on great CDs like the recent Heroes Last Forever.
The Trailer Park Troubadors are Loose Bruce Wandmayer (sax), Terry "Crawfish" Domingue (drums), Derek "Banjovi" Bodkin (banjo), Dacron Dan Becker (keyboards), Hot Rod Todd McMasters (bass), and Gary "Garage Sale" Tackett (guitar).
