World-famous fiddler Martin Hayes will conduct this master class for all levels demonstrating bowing techniques, melody interpretations, variations, and improvisations.

The playing of Irish fiddle virtuoso Martin Hayes releases the pure, distilled beauty and vast emotional depths of traditional Irish music. Martin plays in the unhurried, lyrical style of his native East County Clare. Now residing in Seattle, Martin has been an All-Ireland fiddle champion six times over, and has taken home a National Entertainment Award, the Irish equivalent of the Grammy, for Traditional Musician of the Year.
