Tom PaxtonTom’s songs, his voice, and his words are in our musical DNA. This is the man who wrote and lives the words, “Peace will come, and let it begin with me.” As the late Pete Seeger said, “Tom’s songs have a way of sneaking up on you. You find yourself humming them, whistling them, and singing a verse to a friend. Like the songs of Woody Guthrie, they’re becoming part of America.” Tom was honored with the Grammy for Lifetime Achievement in 2009, and has also won Lifetime Achievement awards from ASCAP and the BBC. “The Last Thing On My Mind,” “Bottle Of Wine,” “Ramblin’ Boy” – his marvelous songs have been recorded by hundreds of artists, from Willie Nelson to Placido Domingo, Doc Watson to Harry Belafonte, Kate Wolf to Norah Jones. “Tom Paxton embodies the spirit of folk music in the most beautiful sense,” says Ani DiFranco. “Not just in his song crafting, his work ethic, his politics, and his dedication to people’s music, but also in his kind and generous heart.” His songs are poignant and tender, pointed and political, timeless and timely – pure folk.

The long-awaited songwriter duo of Don Henry & Jon Vezner has finally come together as "The Don Juans"! Don and Jon have recently performed at Folk Alliance International and will continue to spread their music and wisdom across the country.

The two recieved a Grammy in 1990 for "Where've You Been"... Kathy Mattea's version of "Where've You Been" won song of the year honors from ACM (Academy of Country Music), CMA (Country Music Association) and NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). "Where've You Been" was the first song in country music history to be awarded all four honors in the same year!
