"Poet of the guitar," Brian Gore welcomes song-stress Jenna Mammina for her "Sing Strings: Lyric and Lyre" debut. Eclectic singer Jenna, singled out three times by Jazziz Magazine as a leader in the jazz-crossover genre, makes each song she sings her own, whether it be a ren- dition of a classic jazz standard, a well-known pop tune, or one of her own compositions. "She doesn't just cover Warren Zevon, Elvis Costello, and James Taylor, she reupholsters them," says critic Hew Hallock. She unwinds a song as if each word dangled from a string of twinkling charms and delicately snaps consonants like wishbones."

Brian's emotive, expressive style combines influences from folk, jazz and classical music. Ron Forbes-Roberts of Acoustic Guitar magazine says, "Gore's finely crafted poetic ‘songs without words' take the listener on a spellbinding, emotional ride. He has great facility as a player, but it's the depth and range of moods his pieces evoke that makes his music such a pleasure." A featured performer on NPR's nationally syndicated Echoes Radio, Brian has played in concert halls and festivals around the world as a solo performer, and as founder, director, and performing member of International Guitar Night.
