The Quarry Persons have been leading standing-room only Sing the Beatles events at the San Francisco Free Folk Festival for 5 years. In the past 2 years they've brought their exciting Sing the Beatles sing along events to the Kensington Circus Pub in Kensington. This tribute band recreates your favorite Beatles tunes with Joe Cadora and Carol Curtis on guitars, Jonathan Gill on bass and Bill Coffin on drums. For this special event they are teaming up with Peter Elman, longtime Bay Area performer, composer, producer and educator. Peter gets rave reviews when he teaches his series of classes on the history of popular music for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, especially for his class on the Beatles and Rolling Stones. He brings the iconic beloved group back to life with a wealth of information and behind the scenes anecdotes, and inspires us all with his passion for the music and the people behind that music.
