San Francisco Gay Men’s ChorusTonight’s show features three choral ensembles from the world-famous SF Gay Men’s Chorus.

These amazing ensembles – The Lollipop Guild, Vocal Minority, and SWAG – storm the stage to present an evening of standards, Broadway, and contemporary pop songs. These 50 irresistible men of the Chorus will delight audiences with a little bit of class, a lot of sass, allwhile keeping it completely gay!

From Pharrell Williams to Robert Shaw, and Sondheim to Lorde, you’ll experience the Chorus’ own unique interpretation of some of today’s most memorable and popular music.

The Lollipop Guild, founded in 1979, is known for its light-hearted, upbeat style. Vocal Minority, founded in 2003, guarantees to sing, dance, and smile their way into your heart. And SWAG, formed last year, focuses on gospel, R&B, and pop, and brings high energy to their soulful performances.

From its first performance in 1978 at a candlelight vigil on the steps of San Francisco’s City Hall in the aftermath of the assassinations of George Moscone and Harvey Milk, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus has promoted human rights, community activism, empowerment and inclusiveness, and beautiful choral music. The chorus continues to rally and inspire LGBT and other community and arts-based organizations around the world. In recent years, under the leadership of artistic director and conductor Dr. Timothy Seelig, the chorus has raised its musical game, increased its touring and recording profile, and heightened its impact in the community while maintaining its signature blend of humor, personality, and high-voltage performances.
