Rhonda Vincent & the RageA leading force in contemporary bluegrass, Rhonda Vincent has won the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) award for Female Vocalist of the Year no less than seven times. It’s no wonder folks like the Wall Street Journal have dubbed her the "new queen of bluegrass." Bridging the gap between bluegrass and mainstream country music with her hard-driving, high-energy performances, Rhonda is currently on tour promoting her latest CD, Taken.

Born in Kirksville, Missouri, where she still resides, Rhonda started her musical career at the age of five, playing drums in her family's band, The Sally Mountain Show. Apparently, she never looked back. In addition to her vocal talents, Rhonda plays a mean mandolin, guitar, and fiddle—she also writes much of her own material, from straight-ahead bluegrass instrumentals to heart-wrenching ballads.

For tonight's show, Rhonda is joined by her top-notch touring band, The Rage, also known as fiddler Hunter Berry, bassist Mickey Harris, banjo player Aaron McDaris, guitarist Ben Helson, and newest member, dobro ace Brent Burke.
