Patrick LandezaThe Hawaiian Holiday Concert blends heart-warming stories of aloha, hula, and traditional Hawaiian holiday songs with holiday standards. Hosted by award winning Hawaiian musician Patrick Landeza, it will feature LT Smooth, Waipuna, David Kamakahi and Bill Griffin.

"They say I play smooth," said entertainer Leon Toomata, better known by his stage name L.T. Smooth, about his ki ho'alu (slack key) style. "Growing up Maori, with Samoan and haole blood, was a very touchy subject in Samoan culture," said Smooth, adding that the environment led to a bumpy life. Leon found refuge in his music and incorporates who he is culturally and spiritually in his music.

Waipuna is an exciting collaboration of three talented individuals, Kale Hannahs, Matt Sproat and David Kamakahi. Their eclectic musical backgrounds and similar taste in music has led to the development of a unique sound that draws comparisons to their name, Waipuna, or spring water. They are multi Na Hoku Hanohano (Hawaiian Grammy) award winners and tour the U.S. and Japan. Patrick Landeza, Hawaiian slack key guitarist extraordinaire, comes back home to the Freight fresh on the heels of receiving Hawaiian music’s highest honor, the 2013 Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Slack Key Album of the Year with his latest release Slack Key Huaka`i (Slack Key Journey). He is the first musician based on the mainland to win this award

Accompanying the artists will be 7 time Grammy nominated producer Chris Lau on bass and master `ukulele luthier and mandolele player Bill Griffin along with the very talented Makaiwa.
