One and all are invited to join camp students and faculty for a super fun, free concert celebrating the completion of this year's edition of fiddlekids Summer Camp. A weeklong immersion in traditional fiddle music, the camp encourages youngsters to explore bluegrass, Appalachian, Celtic, jazz, klezmer, and other traditional fiddle styles through tunes, songs, dance, and art. Tonight's show is sure to feature not only plenty of inspiring ensemble playing (and dancing!) by the fiddlekids themselves, but a peek at the prodigious talents of the camp faculty, including bluegrass fiddle scorcher Laurie Lewis, swing-jazz fiddle ace Julian Smedley, bluegrass/old time veteran John Blasquez, fabulous genre-leaper Caroline McCaskey, dance instructor Evie Ladin, and fiddle whiz and Camp Director Bobbi Shearn Nikles.
