Dublin-born singer-songwriter Melanie O'Reilly leads listeners on a "Celtic-jazz" journey as she explores a unique soundscape that fuses the lyricism of Irish poetry with the improvisation of American jazz. Backing Melanie tonight are some very special guests, including John R. Burr (piano), Fred Randolph (bass), Rebecca Kleinman (flute), percussionist Ian Dogole, Darcy Noonan on fiddle, and Sean O Nuallain on guitar.

Melanie has performed at festivals and venues worldwide, from Lincoln Center Outdoors, the Edinburgh International Festival, and the London-Irish Arts Festival to the National Concert Hall in Dublin and Birdland in New York City. She is also a regular presenter for RTE Radio 1, Ireland's national broadcasting station, with the award-winning show Jazz on the Bay and, more recently, Foxrock Folk Club.
