Join the Grammy-nominated Linda Tillery & the Cultural Heritage Choir, local activist and poet Davey D, poet and spoken word artist Tongo Eisen-Martin and various artists from Rally Up Records for an evening of music and culture to benefit The Meadows Livingstone School scholarship fund.

For more than 30 years The Meadows Livingstone School has provided educational experiences for Bay Area-based children of color. Proceeds from the concert will be directed towards scholarships for children to attend The Meadows Livingstone School in the 2017-18 school year.

With music is rooted in the Deep South and strongly connected to their West African and Caribbean origins, the Cultural Heritage Choir is a Grammy nominated, percussion driven vocal ensemble with a mission to preserve and share the rich traditions of African American roots music. Choir leader Linda Tillery was a central figure in the women’s music movement and a founding member of Bobby McFerrin’s ensemble Voicestra. The Cultural Heritage Choir performs internationally, has collaborated with Taj Mahal and Eric Bibb and recorded albums for adults and children.
