How would you like to hear the guitarist who toured and recorded over 20 albums with French jazz violin legend Stephane Grappelli? Or the one that received 14 British Jazz Awards and who Pat Metheny describes as "one of the most awesome solo guitar players in the history of the instrument." Or how about the guitarist that has collaborated with luminaries from the whole musical spectrum, including Chet Atkins, Bill Wyman, George Harrison, Dionne Warwick, Diane Schuur, and Jamie Cullum, to name a few. The list of honors and accomplishments of Martin Taylor goes on and on and on. That's probably why the North Wales Jazz Guitar Festival gave him the Lifetime Achievement Award for his "Contribution to Jazz Guitar Worldwide" or why the Queen appointed him MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) "For Services to Jazz Music."
