Among the Freight's most popular acts, Marley's Ghost achieves the seemingly impossible with its audacious blend of English folk roots, gospel, country, reggae, R&B, even Scottish bagpipe tunes—and it all works like a dream! Even the members of the band have trouble describing their music, but as their recent CD Ghost Town exemplifies, whatever they do, it always comes out sounding uniquely like Marley's Ghost.

A hotbed of multi-instrumental talent that has been playing together for over two decades, the group features Jon Wilcox's mandolin, guitar and bouzouki, Mike Phelan's guitars, dobro, fiddle, bass and lap steel, Dan Wheetman's guitar, fiddle, bass, banjo, and blues harp, Jerry Fletcher's percussion and keyboards, and Ed Littlefield's guitars, dobro, pedal steel guitar, and Highland bagpipes.
