Combining soulful instrumental virtuosity with soaring three-part harmonies, Lonely Heartstring Band’s growing repertoire of original songs and compositions showcases a dedication to meaningful roots-conscious music.

The Lula Gals are a multi-generational all-star band paying tribute to the women musicians of the Northern California bluegrass scene. Laurie Lewis, Mary Gibbons, Kathy Barwick, Sharon Gilchrist, Amy Scher, and Emily Mann named their band after Lula C. Naff, the longtime manager of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Bean Creek plays joyful and exuberant acoustic music. Influenced by early country and mountain music, they’ve got a contemporary bluegrass sound all their own. The quartet features Billy Pitrone, Sarah Eblen, Peter Hicks, and Rob Horgan.

On the Gallery Stage, starting at 7pm: Manning Music in Berkeley, California is a community of teachers and musicians who love bluegrass, oldtime, fiddle and acoustic music. The Tannery Pickers are one of Manning Music's bluegrass band classes led by teachers Mike Witcher and Sharon Gilchrist.
