With music is rooted in the Deep South and strongly connected to their West African and Caribbean origins, the Cultural Heritage Choir is a Grammy nominated, percussion driven vocal ensemble with a mission to preserve and share the rich traditions of African American roots music. Featured tonight are Linda Tillery, Bryan Dyer, Tammi Brown, Rhonda Benin, and Javier Navarette. Jennifer Johns draws on soul, hip hop, afro beat, dancehall, reggae, deep house and all rhythms in between, producing sounds sure to stir your soul, inspire your mind and move your body.
