Legends of the Celtic HarpThree of the world's premier Celtic harpists combine music with spoken word to take us deep into the myths, magic, and fabled history of this beautiful instrument.

In addition to being a top-flight Celtic harp player, Patrick Ball is a captivating storyteller in the Irish tradition, blending the glorious tones of the wire-strung harp and spoken-word magicianship into rich theatrical performances. He has appeared at the Freight over the years in original productions like "The Christmas Rose" and "The Fine Beauty of the Island".

Multi-instrumentalist Lisa Lynne composes and performs original music featuring the Celtic harp in gentle melodies and lush arrangements. Her lovely tunes appear on CDs from the Windham Hill and New Earth labels that have repeatedly placed in the Top 10 & Top 20 on the Billboard new age music charts. You can hear Lisa's music throughout the PBS special "Alone in the Wilderness," amongst many other soundtracks for commercial television and independent films.

Aryeh Frankfurter is a world-traveling multi-instrumentalist who explores a multitude of ethnic and international musical genres, from virtuosic progressive rock violin to intricate Swedish folk and Celtic music. His uncommon approach to the Celtic harp is passionate and evocative.
