Kathy Kallick is at it again, writing new songs, releasing new albums, and cooking up a bluegrass storm on stage. Singout! She's won a Grammy and two awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association, and recorded 19 albums, including her latest, Cut to the Chase, a collection of new songs that tell poignant and powerful stories. Joe Craven, a remarkably intuitive and highly versatile musician, has made music with folks ranging from multi-string instrumentalist David Lindley to blues slide guitar master Roy Rogers to Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia, and groups from Psychograss to The Persuasions to The Horseflies. He was percussionist and fiddler for the David Grisman Quintet for 17 years, and special guest with the Alison Brown Quartet for 7 years. Jambands.com says, “The man recognizes no boundaries. At age 13, Joe’s daughter Hattie has been performing with her dad for the past 5 years, and recently released her debut album. Like Joe, Hattie’s music encompasses traditional folk, jazz, reggae, Latin, and other roots music.
