Kahulanui is bringing the best of Hawaiian Big Band swing to the Freight and the dance floor is open. The Grammy-nominated ensemble takes its inspiration from the Royal Hawaiian Band of the 1930s and 1940s, merging Hawaiian songs, ‘ukulele, and slack key guitar with drums and horns. It’s quite a sound!
