Take three masterful young musicians from Crooked Still, Punch Brothers, and the thriving Nashville music scene, put them together, and watch the magic happen! Bluegrass Today calls their debut album, You Got This, “beautiful and haunting, drawing on the traditions of American fiddle music while challenging those boundaries at the same time.” Between the three of them, Brittany Haas, Paul Kowert, and Jordan Tice have played with Tony Trischka, Casey Driessen, Noam Pikelny, Bruce Molsky, Dave Rawlings Machine, Alasdair Fraser, Abigail Washburn, and too many more to count. The group’s impeccable instrumentals sizzle and soar, exploring traditional forms and experimenting with new possibilities.

Crying Uncle is a bluegrass duo band from Northern California, consisting of brothers Miles Quale (age 13, on fiddle) and Teo Quale (age 11, on mandolin), in collaboration with guest musicians. The brothers, who are state and national fiddle and mandolin champions, have been featured on NPR’s The California Report and performed at venues such as IBMA’s World of Bluegrass Festival and CBA’s Fathers Day Bluegrass Festival. They are joined by friends Aerie and Tuki Walker. Twins Aerie Walker (cello) and Tuki Walker (fiddle, vocals), proud alums of Freight and Salvage’s summer program Fiddlekids, have made guest appearances with an eclectic variety of fiddlers ranging from Hanneke Cassel and Mads Tolling to Alasdair Fraser and the Scottish Fiddlers. The girls' new Americana band,  with Daisy Kerr, recently opened for Jordan Tice and Mike Witcher.
