Join us for a fabulous fun danceable evening of country music and beyond with three stellar bands.

Los Train Wreck-San Francisco's best show-up-and-jam band-is versatile, rootsy, gutsy and just plain fun. Serving up a heady brew of rock n' roll, country, bluegrass, and r&b since 1992, Los Train Wreck features Kathi Kamen Goldmark on rhythm guitar and vocals, David Phillips on pedal steel guitar and vocals, and Sam Barry (keyboards, harmonica, and vocals), joined by Todd Swenson on lead guitar, Peter Tucker (drums), and Paul Olguin (bass and vocals). They have had what Kathi calls the "dubious honor" of recording music with dozens of authors, including Amy Tan, Ben Fong-Torres, Norman Mailer, Maya Angelou, and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.

Loretta Lynch, whose gorgeous three-part cowgirl harmonies soar high over a lonely prairie, are a little bit front porch, a little bit backwoods, and a whole lot of outlaw. The band includes Valerie Esway (vocals, bass and guitar), Ari Fellows-Mannion (guitar, vocals, mandolin and bass), Heather Davison (vocals, washboard, accordion, percussion), Nathan Moy (drums), and Dan Olmstead (guitar).

Swinging Doors explores country music's great honky-tonk tradition with a host of veteran musicians including Ray Bierl (vocals, guitar, fiddle), Mayne Smith (pedal steel, vocals), Steve Baker (lead guitar, vocals), Markie Sanders (electric bass, vocals), and John Hanes (drums). The band cranks out a rollicking repertoire a la Buck Owens and Merle Haggard (whose tune inspired their name).  The dance floor is open-you'll kick up your heels to stompers, shouters, gliders, and weepers.
