Feeling the winter chill? Dr. has the cure! Make sure you stop by for tonight's multi-faceted show featuring the Curios, Misner & Smith, and Misisipi Rider, guaranteed to warm your heart and keep your toes tapping!

The Curios-Marc Games, Nancy Hall, Lee Parvin, Mike Tyler, and Jim Kerwin-are a group of musicians whose combined resume include recording and performing with Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Taj Mahal, Michael Bloomfield, YoYo Ma, and Jerry Garcia. Tonight, they trade off turns on accordion, piano, Hammond B-3, harmonica, and melodica, as well as ukulele, guitar, glockenspiel, dulcimer and assorted gizmos while parlaying their intriguing originals.

Sam Misner and Megan Smith began their musical collaboration after discovering a mutual love of americana music and storytelling. The duo's unique vocal harmonies wrap around influences ranging from old-time music to folk to Motown and the blues. Weaving the tales of various memorable characters through their original songs, they present richly textured tunes both fictional and historical, as in their acclaimed "Triangle Factory Fire," based on the true story of the infamous fire at the Triangle Waistcoat Factory in New York City in 1911.

SF-based Misisipi Rider is a folk pop quartet featuring rich four-part vocal harmonies, clever songwriting, and a tight, lively stage show. Fiddler Katy Rexford, 'Misisipi' Mike Wolf and Cree Reiter on guitars, and bassist Doug Blumer create original music that's an infectious mix of joy and pathos, both live and on CDs like their new Live in the Studio, a track from which ("The Voice of Johnny Cash") was recently selected as one of the 20 Best Songs of 2009 by KALX radio.
