Join fictitious 1960s girl group The Coverlettes for a Christmas cabaret concert like no other! Bella, Ella, and Stella Duvet, three sisters from "the wrong side of Vermont," regale the Freight with versions of their favorite Christmas songs, mixed in with lots of ‘60s era girl group hits by the likes of The Shangri-Las, The Ronettes, The Shirelles, and The Crystals, served up with a dollop of their own history, angst, and joy. With the able backing of the Fellas—pianist Rusty McTurk, bassist Rudy Tuesday, and drummer Ray Wray—the sisters set our stage aglow with holiday spirits and nostalgic good cheer for not one, but two big nights.

Darby Gould (Stella Duvet) has been performing for over 30 years, including as lead singer of Jefferson Starship the Next Generation. Among her many accomplishments, Katie Guthorn (Bella Duvet) sang in Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra (later Big Bang Beat) for 25 years. Carol Bozzio Littleton (Ella Duvet) is currently a member of the 12 piece rock and soul review band, Big Bang Beat. Coverlettes musical director Randy Craig (Rusty McTurk) was a founding member of The Pickle Family Circus, and has written too many scores for theater and film to remember. Maurice Tani (Rudy Tuesday) is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist usually found with his Americana band 77 El Deora. Currently a member of Super Diamond, Vince Littleton (Raymond "Ray" Wray) toured and recorded with Merl Saunders & the Rainforest Band and The Mermen, plus many more.

Many of their tunes can also be found on The Coverlettes Cover Christmas (and More!) CD...but you don't want to miss seeing the "sisters" live!
