Please join us for -- This Land is Our Land: Internationalism, Citizenship, Resistance -- a special afternoon performance celebrating the 77th reunion of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, the nearly 3,000 American volunteers who fought against fascism during the Spanish Civil War.

Bruce Barthol, founding bass player in Country Joe and the Fish and songwriter for the San Francisco Mime Troupe for more than 30 years, will play songs of the Spanish Civil War, with a little help from some of his musical friends, including Velina Brown, Randy Craig, Tony Marcus, and Barrett Nelson.

The Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives (ALBA) will honor the recipient of this year’s Puffin Human Rights Award, the immigrant rights organization United We Stand, the largest immigrant youth-led organization in the country. ALBA is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the Spanish Civil War and the American volunteers who risked their lives to fight fascism in Spain.
